Military Hospitality Alliance

We decided to consolidate the MHA activities under the Veteran's Support Network. The activities are the same, we just no longer have the structure of a membership organization, since the dues were free and no one joined anyway. The two competitions that's we've done for 14-15 years continue.

Helping Homeless Vets

It's estimated that 200,000 veterans may be homeless on any night, and that twice as many experience homelessness during a year. Here at Global Foodservice Institute, we know that many veterans are going through a hard time. Our veterans' network is here to make sure they don't go it alone.

We await IRS approval for the Veteran's Support Network as a 501(c) (3) charity. Once approved, we have grant writers who are ready to raise funds for homeless and other vets—to get credentials that will help keep them from being either unemployed or underemployed.

Educational Funding

Global Foodservice Institute is working on other funding sources for the various military services. Our goal is to provide certifications for all of those who care to earn them. We already have VA approvals as a certification granting organization, and we're working on more. Our professional certifications are from Global Foodservice Institute at Morrisville State College.
